GM Painters was established in Taupo by our owner Gareth Millar who is Taupo born and bred. Gareth has been involved in the painting industry for almost 20 years, and has been trained by some of Taupo’s most experienced painters.

Gareth was determined to branch out on his own, and take his skills and knowledge to the Taupo community. His focus has always been to provide the best quality of workmanship to the client; and to work closely with his customers to ensure that the customer is 100% satisfied with the work.

Under Gareth’s guidance, GM Painters has grown from just Gareth to a team of almost 20 painters and have quickly become one of Taupo’s biggest painting companies. Gareth works hard to pass on his knowledge in the field to ensure that we provide the finest work available.

In 2014 GM Painters became a RESENE ECO DECORATOR, which is a true testament to the hard work Gareth and the team put in. Only selected painting companies are asked to join this program, which is an honour and something the crew at GM Painters are proud to be a part of.
